Thanks John. I'm leading a group from my church in a discussion of The Shack and I think your study of it will be helpful for me. I have broken it down into discussions of major topics of our response to invitations from God, Our perceptions of The Father, Son and Holy Spirit and how they interact with our lives and how Young's portrayal of them melds with Biblical revelation. Also, since it is a major topic of debate, Young's description of the Trinity. Next up is why bad things happen to good people, forgiveness and heaven. I hope you don't mind if I use your posting to edify our discussions. Thanks again.

I would also like to use some of your material here to bring a Biblical context to several of the questions that Mack asks. John, Every since I heard my friends on facebook make comments about "The Shack" and how they couldn't put the book down...I was courious. I finally purchased a copy and my husband read it in a day...my mom read it next and finally I got my book back and read it. WOW! It is exactly what I have been searching for. Tomorrow I will host our book club as we discuss, "The Shack". I am so excited to have found your site. It will be great in our journey! You are blessed.
